So how much does membership cost?
Receiving Quality Care should not cost a fortunate and it does not at Synergistic Health. Annual membership can be paid in monthly installments without additional costs. Membership is age based. Visit "About Us" for details.
What if I already have medical insurance?
You should keep your medical insurance if you need to bill for expenses such as specialist, hospitalizations, labs, prescriptions, etc.. The government dictates employers have employees contribute to assist with insurance - most employers charge 8.7%. You may consider reducing employers insurance to a high deductible plan to offset the membership fees so you will continue to have coverage. Some insurance companies will reimburse visits when you submit the provided invoice from Synergistic Healthcare. As a provider who specializes in Functional Medicine, there are very limited resources for this type of specialty and insurance companies may be required to reimburse if no other specialist is available within your community.
Is My Membership fee eligible for HSA or FSA reimbursement?
YES! Many HSA/FSA accounts reimburse for this type of service. Check with your HR department for possible payment options.
What does membership fee cover?
Members have unlimited visits with the provider. This includes physicals, well checks, acute care or "I just need to talk to someone". I care & listen to your needs and understand not all health care needs are planned in advance.
What is not covered?
Labs are paid through your insurance or out of pocket: We use a discount program that reduces lab prices substantially - you pick! The same with diagnostic imaging.
Lengthy forms such as FMLA or Disability may require a fee as well as printing a chart.
What happens if I need to go to the hospital or see a specialist?
If emergent or specialized care is needed - I will refer and continue to work with a hospitalist or specialist to maximize your care. Athena software is integrated with most medical facilities & Hospitals because I believe continuity in care is essential.
